Possible Alternatives to the Espresso - Part 3

I couldn't wait anymore to talk about my favourite alternative to the espresso: the Irish Coffee.
Maybe this isn't the right season for this beverage, seen that it is usually hot and it contains a bit of liquor, but I really like it and I couldn't leave it out of my alternatives.

Ingredients:

  • Coffee
  • Irish Whiskey
  • Whipped Cream
  • Brown Sugar
The peculiarity of this kind of coffee is that there isn't a specific quantity for each ingredient, but they are calculated according to a proportion in fact each Irish Coffee is made up of 5/10 of hot coffee, 3/10 of whiskey and 2/10 of fresh whipped cream.
For the traditional recipe we need a 0. 20 liter glass which has to be warmed with a bit of hot water to which we can add the sugar. Then it is important to mix until the sugar has become liquid and add the hot coffee (the average quantity is about 30ml) and the whiskey. In the end add the whipped cream with a tea spoon so that it won't mix with the coffee.
It is advisable to consume the typical Irish Coffee without mixing coffee and whipped cream.
