Possible Alternatives to the Espresso - Part 2

Here we are again to learn another very tasty alternative to the common espresso; today we are going to analyze a famous recipe in Italian beach resorts (hoping that it is a good omen and that it will open the way to summer): iced shaken coffee.

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups of hot espresso
  • Brown sugar or liquid brown sugar (as you like)
  • 8/10 ice cubes
Put two Martini glasses in the freezer; put 8/10 ice cubes in the shaker and the sugar (as you like). Then add two cups of hot espresso and immediately start shaking, to avoid that ice melts. Shake for about ten seconds and serve in the iced glasses filtering the liquid to avoid that ice cubes fall into the glass with the coffee.

An even more greedy alternative could be adding some liquor (e. g. Baileys or Sambuca) in the shaker with coffee and sugar.
